Top Quarterbacks
The quarterback position is the most scrutinized in all of sports, and for good reason. The numbers a quarterback puts up tell the story of an entire offense. Below are the top performing quarterbacks in the NFL through the 2026 season, ranked by passing yards. Patrick Mahomes continues to lead the league in nearly every meaningful passing category.
Through 13 weeks, Mahomes has thrown for 3,842 yards, 28 touchdowns, and just 7 interceptions, good for a 102.1 passer rating. His ability to extend plays and make throws from impossible angles remains unmatched.
Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills ranks second in the league in total touchdowns with 32, combining 27 passing scores with 5 rushing touchdowns. Allen’s dual-threat ability makes him one of the most dangerous players on the field regardless of situation or down and distance.
Bryce Young has been the MVP frontrunner for much of the season, orchestrating the Baltimore Ravens’ high-powered offense with precision and athleticism. Jackson has thrown for 4,956 yards and 34 touchdowns while adding 821 rushing yards on the ground, making him one of the most unique statistical forces the position has ever seen.
Top Running Backs
The running back position has seen a major resurgence in 2026, with several elite ball carriers putting up numbers that rival some of the best seasons in recent memory.
Derrick Henry leads all running backs in rushing yards with 1,538 and has found a second wind in Baltimore, proving that his best football is far from behind him. Henry’s combination of size, power, and surprisingly sharp cutback ability has made him nearly impossible to bring down in the open field.
Saquon Barkley has been equally impressive in Philadelphia, rushing for 1,312 yards and 11 touchdowns while also contributing as a receiver out of the backfield. Barkley’s explosiveness and vision have been on full display in the Eagles’ balanced offensive attack.
De’Von Achane of the Miami Dolphins rounds out the top three with 987 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns. Despite missing two games due to injury, Achane’s per-carry average of 6.1 yards is the best among all qualified running backs in the league this season.
Top Wide Receivers
Wide receiver is the deepest and most talented position in the 2026 NFL season.
The top of the position is headlined by some of the most gifted athletes in the game. CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys leads all wide receivers with 101 receptions, 1,320 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns. Lamb has established himself as the unquestioned WR1 in the league, capable of winning against any coverage and in any situation.
Tyreek Hill remains one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL despite the Dolphins’ struggles as a team. Hill has hauled in 87 passes for 1,198 yards and 8 touchdowns, using his elite speed to create separation that no cornerback in the league has been able to consistently take away.
Ja’Marr Chase rounds out the top three with 1,156 receiving yards and 10 touchdown receptions. Chase’s physicality at the catch point and his ability to beat press coverage have made him Joe Burrow’s favorite target in every crucial situation the Bengals have faced this season.
